Pigeon Forge Winterfest
Pigeon Forge
Nov 05, 2009 — Feb 28, 2010 As the days grow shorter and the nights grow colder, Pigeon Forge comes alive with millions of sparkling lights. Join us for the 20th Annual Pigeon Forge Winterfest Celebration November 5th, 2009, through February 28th, 2010. Count down the Twelve Days of Christmas as you follow the Parkway. From the Partridge in the Pear Tree to the Twelve Drummers, the Pigeon Forge Parkway emanates holiday cheer. Take a stroll through Patriot Park and be amazed by even more fantastic displays of Christmas lights. Kickoff is November 5th at Patriot Park as local school groups perform, beginning around 4 PM. Don't miss the Duggar Family from TLC's '18 Kids and Counting' as they help us celebrate flipping the switch, illuminating millions of lights! The Kick-off continues with Christmas Carols and concerts from the Pigeon Forge Community Chorus and Jimbo Whaley with Greenbrier. Many food vendors will be on site and complimentary trolley tours begin at 6:00 PM. Featured guest, Santa Claus, will make an appearance with his sleigh and reindeer. Stop by and get your picture taken, free prints available. This year's Winterfest season has several special events: the Winterfest Trolley Tour of Lights, Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival, Tellebration, Pigeon Forge Community Chorus Holiday Concert, Belz Midnight Madness, Belz Outlet Sidewalk Sales, 20th Annual Wilderness Wildlife Week, 10th Annual Saddle Up Celebration.
