Starting January 9th running through the 16th, this free week long celebration features over 150 guest speakers who preside over seminars, guided hikes, photography classes and animal presentations. AppalachiaFest, the musical counterpart of the week explores the sounds of the settlers of the Smoky Mountains. Wilderness Wildlife Week is great for every family, with many hands on demonstrations and classes and over 20 educational programs designed especially for kids. Ken Jenkins, founder of Wilderness Wildlife Week, noted photographer, and wildlife author will be on hand sharing his knowledge and passion in several lectures and presentations showcasing his photography skills.
